This is the compact one in the mosaic range, narrow at the base and low enough to sit beside a bed without crowding out a book and a glass of water. Switched on in a dark room, the hand-cut stained glass throws geometric colour across the wall and ceiling nearby.

Every piece of glass is cut and placed by hand onto a metal base. The style traces through Turkish and Moroccan glasswork and is made here in Jaipur, where the same technique has settled into the local handicraft trade.
