Handmade Wooden Key Holder

Keys on the Hooks, Post and Bills in the Rack Above

This one does two jobs. Six hooks hold the keys, and a rack across the top takes the things that usually pile up beside them, letters, bills, courier slips and notes. Put it by the front door and the whole daily heap has somewhere to go.

The wooden face is worked in gemstone painting, the Jaipur craft where crushed stone is used in place of pigment, so the colour has a granular, catching quality up close.

Where it goes

Entryways and hallways at home, or beside the door in a small office where keys and paperwork both need a landing spot. The near-square shape suits a narrow stretch of wall between a door frame and a corner.
