This elephant bridge statue is carved from 100% seasoned Kadamb wood and features three elephants arranged in a small-to-big sequence on an integrated bridge base. Each elephant is hand-painted using fine-tip brushes with intricate floral and geometric motifs in multiple colours, finished with a high-gloss polish that keeps the colours vivid. The bridge base and the three elephant figures are carved as a single connected piece from one block of Kadamb wood, measuring 23cm length and 8cm height.

Hand-Painted Multicolour – Different from the Undercut Jali Elephant Bridge

This piece is the painted variant of the elephant bridge, distinct from the Undercut Jali version in the collection which has a natural matte finish with hollow lattice carving. Here, the surface is fully covered in hand-painted multicolour decorative motifs with a glossy polish, making it a more vibrant and colourful display piece. Kadamb wood is used for its fine grain and smooth surface, which takes paint well and allows for detailed brushwork. The small-to-big arrangement of the three elephants on the bridge is a traditional design motif representing family progression and unity.
