Six Folk Musicians in Wood, Painted in the Babla Style
A set of six wooden figures, each one a Rajasthani folk musician mid-performance. One holds a dholak, another a sarangi, another a flute, and every figure wears a safa tied in the bright colours of the region. Placed together they read as a baithak rather than six separate showpieces.
The style is known locally as Babla or Bawla work. The figures are carved first, then painted by hand, which is why the turbans and the instrument detailing differ slightly between sets.

Where it works
The set needs a bit of length to look right, a console table, a wide shelf or a reception desk suits it better than a narrow corner. It is a common pick for offices and hotel lobbies where a Rajasthani theme is wanted, and for Diwali and housewarming gifting.
