Three Turbaned Baja Players Cast in Metal

A band of three, each figure standing with a baja instrument, the kind of group that leads a baraat. They are cast in metal rather than carved in wood, which gives them weight and lets the artist keep the turbans and the instruments sharp. The hand painting is done afterwards, over the metal.

At 28cm each they are tall figures, so the three of them read as a proper procession rather than a set of small curios.

Where to place them
