Multipurpose Desk Organizer

A Desk Organizer Fronted with Gemstone Painting

The front panel is what separates this from an ordinary pen stand. It carries a gemstone painting, an old Jaipur technique where crushed gemstone powder is laid behind glass to build up the image, so the colour comes from the stone itself rather than from paint.

The body is pine wood, divided into compartments that take pens, pencils, a phone, visiting cards, markers and a stapler without them ending up in one heap.

As an office gift

It gets picked for office gifting because it is used daily rather than displayed, and the gemstone panel keeps it from looking like standard corporate stationery. It works the same on a study desk at home.
