Big-Eared Ganesha in Hand-Painted Meenakari Enamel
A metal Ganesha with deliberately oversized ears, seated in the blessing pose with laddoos in hand. The big ears carry their own meaning in the iconography, the idea of a deity who listens, and here they also give the artist more surface to paint on.
The meenakari work
Meenakari is enamel painting on metal, a craft Jaipur has been known for over generations. On this piece the colour runs all the way around, front, back and sides, so there is no plain face to hide against a wall. Each idol is painted by hand, so the shade and the pattern shift slightly from one to the next.

Where it fits
The size suits a pooja shelf, an office desk or a console where a smaller idol works better than a tall one. It is also a common choice for housewarming and return gifts, since the colour makes it look substantial without being large.
