Ganesha on His Chowki, with the Mooshak Busy at the Laddoos
Ganeshji is seated on a chowki, the low aasana used for a deity, wearing a crown, one hand raised in blessing and laddoos held in the other. In front of him a large mooshak is eating from the pile, and that small bit of storytelling is what separates this idol from a formal seated Ganesha.
The meenakari painting runs all the way around the piece, not just across the front. The metal underneath is fine quality, and the enamel work is done by hand, which is why it holds up from every angle.

Where to keep it
Because there is no unfinished side, it can sit in the centre of a table or a mandir shelf rather than against a wall. The compact base also makes it a common choice for a car dashboard and for office desks.
