Hand Painted Wood Desk Organizer

Separate Slots for the Phone and the Visiting Cards

Most desk organizers are a pen pot with ambitions. This one is divided properly: deep sections for pens, pencils and markers, shallow ones for pins and a stapler, and dedicated slots that hold a mobile phone upright and keep a stack of visiting cards to hand.

At 25cm long it runs along the back edge of a desk rather than taking up the middle, which is where a single-piece organizer earns its space over three separate holders.

The painting

Rajasthani hand painting covers the wood in traditional motifs and bold colour, done in the Jaipur style. It looks like a decorative piece that happens to be useful rather than office equipment someone tried to decorate.
